When international interior design brand Rivièra Maison needed to replace their old Magento 1 platform, they asked Youwe for help. Established as a flower shop in Amsterdam in 1948, Rivièra Maison has grown into a leading interior design brand with an international presence. Offering a wide range of furniture, homeware, and accessories, the business caters to an extremely broad audience and continues to pursue ambitious growth aspirations.
Rivièra Maison’s business model relies on a solid, reliable platform with an exceptional user experience. As a result, when Magento 1 began to near its end of life, the replacement platform not only needed to be exceptional, but the changeover had to be seamless as well.
After carrying out a technical audit, Youwe proposed a migration to Magento 2 as the best route forward. Yet this would be a complex and complicated integration, with very specific business rules, and the use of some non-compatible modules.
It was a challenging, highly technical project, which needed to be managed to ensure orders could still be placed by customers every single day. It was the ideal project for Youwe to assist with.
