Munster Joinery
Founded in 1973 and now employing nearly 2,500 people, Munster Joinery is one of the largest manufacturers of energy-efficient windows and doors in Europe. However, its outdated Magento 1 website was letting the company down and no longer delivering a satisfactory service for users.
Munster Joinery turned to Fisheye, now a Youwe company, to completely overhaul the user experience for both its customers and team. The tired Magento 1 system was causing major issues and bottlenecks and restricting profitability. It had to go. It was time for an Adobe Commerce installation (previously known as Magento 2 commerce).
Serving the Irish, UK and international markets, the company’s migration to Adobe Commerce would allow it to streamline administration, quotation procedures and lead generation. The requirements were clear. Youwe needed to create multi-region, multi-brand sites with a primary focus on lead generation for B2C customers.
Munster Joinery has three websites it can now be proud of
Our solution
With the Magento 1 platform discarded and a new Adobe Commerce deployment in place, Munster Joinery’s primary problem would be solved. However, the new platform had to be delivered on time and it had to come in on budget. But that’s not a problem for Youwe.
Our careful and precise project management expertise ensured three websites were launched swiftly and successfully, providing multi-region, multi-brand eCommerce sites for B2B and B2C. These sites also acted as a resource center for a wide range of B2C and B2B user types.
The power was back in the hands of the merchant. Munster Joinery can fully control and merchandise all its sites, utilizing Adobe Pagebuilder CMS to deliver significant improvements to customer engagement, as well as improving lead flow.
