An online platform for luxury fashion
For Pauw, a luxury fashion retailer with rich heritage, Youwe built a customer-friendly and easy-to-manage web platform based on Magento 2 with a bespoke integration of the ERP system.
Founded shortly after World War 2 in Amsterdam, luxury fashion retailer and brand Pauw looks back at a rich history and can pride itself in being a true family business. In the '80s, Pauw launched its own exclusive collection, which is sold alongside other luxury brands. In the new Millennium, Pauw started its international expansion Today, the apparel business counts 28 stores in the Netherlands and over 150 points of sales across the globe.
In 2014, the company rolled out its first online shop based on Magento 1. However, as a high-fashion brand with its own collection and retailer of high-end fashion worldwide, Pauw wanted their webshop to be a reflection of their brand values in terms of user experience and look & feel. A decision was made to build a management platform that would add to customer friendliness and experience. An integration with Pauw's ERP and the fulfillment system were also on the wishlist. Pauw picked Youwe to create a platform to meet their expectations of offering a high-end customer experience through their digital channel.

Our solution
Customer Friendly thanks to integration
Youwe created a bi-lingual platform with the emphasis on customer friendliness and high-end experience on the one, and manageability on the other hand. With Elastic Search, a highly performing search functionality was created, paired with filters, prices including import duties, and inventory showed with a location for eventual pick-up. The integration with the ERP (MIS) makes it possible to manage customer data, pricing, inventory, fulfillment providers and checkout functionalities centrally. Additional integrations were built with MailChimp, the company's email marketing software, other marketing tools as well as the payment providers.
The results
Experience in line with brand values
Pauw's webshop is now available in Dutch and English, ready to cater to the needs of international audiences. Through the smart system integrations, customers can order online seeing inventory from all 28 Dutch shops, picking up or returning the merchandise directly from the store- or choose postal delivery. The prices are always accurate, even including duties and fees for overseas purchases. Reductions and special offers are centrally managed and distributed to the entire store network. The site has substantially increased its customer friendliness and now offers an experience adequate to the values Pauw wants to convey.
